Abstract:
A vehicle-mounted control device according to the present disclosure is provided with a control unit for causing data collected by a vehicle to be transmitted from a communication device to an external device, wherein: the control unit executes first control, while the vehicle is traveling through a first sector, for transmitting the data to the external device in chronological order in accordance with a first condition, second control, while the vehicle is traveling through a second sector in which a communication status between a network and the communication device is less suitable than in the first sector, for transmitting the data to the external device in chronological order in accordance with a second condition whereby an amount of data transmitted per unit time is less than in the first condition, and third control, while the vehicle is traveling through the first sector after the second control, for transmitting to the external device remaining data that were not transmitted under the second control; and the third control includes priority control for transmitting first data collected while the vehicle was traveling through a prescribed sector, among the remaining data, in advance of second data collected while the vehicle was traveling outside the prescribed sector.
