Abstract:
Provided is a vehicle-mounted device mounted in a vehicle, the vehicle-mounted device executing at least an authentication process, on the basis of the result of the execution of wireless communication with at least one mobile device. In a vehicle-mounted equipment process executed by a vehicle-mounted device according to one aspect, a query signal is transmitted at a specified transmission interval, and at a preset transmission level (S110). Then, in the event of a determination that a response signal from a mobile device (50) is received continuously for a specified time (t1) or longer (S150 : YES), the transmission level of the query signal is lowered (S160). Further, in the vehicle-mounted equipment process, a query signal is transmitted at the lower transmission level (S110). In the event that a response signal to this query signal is received, and further it is determined that a response signal from the mobile device (50) is received continuously for a specified time (t1) or longer (S150 : YES), the transmission level of the query signal is lowered further.
