Abstract:
The present invention enhances the reliability of a vehicle-mounted headlamp by changing the light distribution pattern without using a mechanical configuration. This vehicle-mounted headlamp has a laser light source (1), a spatial light modulator (3), a spatial light modulator control unit, and a projection lens (5). The laser light source (1) emits laser light (10). The spatial light modulator (3) modulates the phase distribution of the laser light (10) emitted from the laser light source (1). The spatial light modulator control unit is provided on the headlamp control unit (36) and controls the spatial light modulator (3). The spatial light modulator control unit modulates the phase distribution of the laser light (10) by controlling the spatial light modulator (3) and changes the pattern of light distribution projected from the projection lens (5).
