Abstract:

Provided is a vehicle-mounted imaging device that can, at a facility, at home, or the vicinity thereof at which a user can easily eliminate contamination of a camera lens or lens protection glass, perform a notification regarding the contamination. The present invention is equipped with: an accretion diagnosis unit (22) that diagnoses the state of contamination accreted to a camera unit (11A, 11B, 11C, 11D) lens or lens protection glass; and a contamination notification determination unit (23) that determines the presence/absence of a contamination notification on the basis of position information of the vehicle and a predetermined type of facility obtained from a navigation device (31) provided with a database (31b) containing a GPS (31a), a map, and nearby facility information. When the degree of contamination has been determined to be at least a threshold by the accretion diagnosis unit (22), a path to a destination is set by the navigation device (31), and a facility is determined by the contamination notification determination unit (23) to be present in a predetermined distance range from the path, the user is notified of the contamination by means of a display device (32) and speaker device (33) provided to the vehicle.
