Abstract:
Provided is a vehicle-mounted roof box (10) in which a cover can be easily opened or closed, and reliably and safely locked. The vehicle-mounted roof box (10) comprises a main body (20) for receiving objects, a cover (30) pivotably attached to one side of the main body (20), a locking mechanism (50) installed at the other side of the main body (20), and a locking part (40) installed at the side of the cover (30) corresponding to the side of the main body (20) at which the locking mechanism (50) is installed. The locking mechanism (50) and the locking part (40) are used to lock the cover (30) to the main body (20). The locking mechanism (50) comprises an unlock button (72) that operates in connection with a plurality of locks (60), and a lock switch button (74) that maintains an unlocked state when the unlock button (72) is pressed, and restores the unlock button (72) to a lockable state when the cover (30) is opened.
