Abstract:
The present invention provides a vehicle movement control device that achieves both ride comfort and minimization of travel time by setting the speed so that physical quantities such as acceleration and jerk fall within specified values, taking into account the linkage between front-back and lateral movements that occur in a traveling vehicle. The vehicle movement control device is characterized by comprising: a path command value calculation means for generating a path for the vehicle to travel along; a specified value setting means for setting a specified value for a physical quantity of vehicle behavior when traveling along the path; a path feature point setting means for setting a path feature point based on the path and the specified value; and a speed command value calculation means for calculating a speed for the vehicle to travel along the path on the basis of the path, the specified value, and the path feature point, wherein the speed command value calculation means sets the zero point of longitudinal acceleration based on the path feature point that is the peak point of the curvature of the path, and sets the peak point of longitudinal acceleration based on the path feature point that is the peak point of the distance derivative value of the curvature.
