Abstract:

In order to enable a driver to discriminate a notification vibration even in situations in which notification vibrations may be masked by road conditions, this vehicle notification device (1) extracts, at random, sets of signal data having different combinations of initial frequency and target frequency, the number of sets of signal data being the number of vibration units (EX1-EX4), and generates multiple sweep signals for a single period in which the frequency is changed from the initial frequency to the target frequency in the extracted signal data. By outputting each of the generated sweep signals separately from the vibration units (EX1-EX4), multiple notification vibrations are outputted for which the changing frequencies have different frequency ranges.
