Abstract:
Provided is a vehicle operation device configured to reduce an uncomfortable feeling that a driver undergoes when the driver carries out a driving operation, thereby suppressing a vehicle behavior that the driver does not intend. A vehicle operation ECU (1) determines control amounts of a throttle actuator (6) and a brake actuator (7) in accordance with operation amounts of the throttle actuator (6) and the brake actuator (7). Here, when steering is operated, a dead zone for a control amount is adjusted in accordance with a pedal operation. When the steering direction is turned to the left, for example, the dead zone is increased in an acceleration pedal arranged on the right side, i.e., a rotating outer wheel side of the vehicle.
