Abstract:
Provided is a vehicle operation management system that includes a communication terminal and a plurality of vehicles. The plurality of vehicles are capable of communicating with the communication terminal and autonomous driving. The plurality of vehicles includes a first vehicle and a second vehicle. When, in a boarding area, the first vehicle is positioned at the head of a queue, the second vehicle is located at a position next to that of the first vehicle in the queue, and there is one boarding request from the communication terminal, a first notification unit of the first vehicle notifies that a passenger can board the first vehicle and a second notification unit of the second vehicle does not notify that a passenger can board the second vehicle. When, in the boarding area, the first vehicle is positioned at the head of the queue, the second vehicle is located at a position next to that of the first vehicle in the queue, and there are at least two boarding requests from the communication terminal, the first notification unit of the first vehicle notifies that a passenger can board the first vehicle and the second notification unit of the second vehicle notifies that a passenger can board the second vehicle.
