Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a vehicle with which the parking space for the vehicle itself can be minimized, and a parking facility with which it is possible for a large number of vehicles to be parked efficiently in a prescribed parking space. A vehicle 1 is provided with: a bottom surface flap 7 and a rear surface flap 8 which are disposed on a bottom surface of a vehicle body, and which are capable of pivoting up and down about a back portion lower edge of the vehicle body; and geared motors 9, 11 which respectively rotate the bottom surface flap 7 and the rear surface flap 8. Further, a parking facility 20 for a vehicle 1' is configured to include: an erecting mechanism (pivoting member 22, electric motor 23, link mechanism 24) which causes the vehicle 1' to stand upright with the rear surface thereof at the bottom; and a movement mechanism (belt conveyor) 25 which moves the vehicle 1', made to stand upright by the erecting mechanism, to a prescribed position.
