Abstract:
A vehicle periphery display device equipped with an image acquisition unit (21), an image display unit (23), a state determination unit (24), and a display region change unit (25). The image acquisition unit (21) acquires a first peripheral image and a second peripheral image, which respectively capture a first region and a second region that differ from one another in an exterior peripheral region of a vehicle. The image display unit (23) displays the first and second peripheral images captured by the image acquisition unit (21) on one screen of a display device provided inside a vehicle compartment. The state determination unit (24) determines the state of travel of the vehicle. The display region change unit (25) sets the region in which the first peripheral image is displayed on the display screen of the display device as a principal display region, and sets the region thereof in which the second peripheral image is displayed as a secondary display region, and according to the determination results from the state determination unit (24), causes the image display unit (23) to enlarge the secondary display region when prescribed travel state conditions are met.
