Abstract:
Provided are a vehicle position detection system, and the like, for detecting the position of a vehicle in a prescribed environment, such as a parking lot. In the present invention, a plurality of transceivers (10) for transmitting and receiving ultrasound are provided in a parking lot (P). A vehicle position detection device (80) mounted in a vehicle (V) comprises a storage unit (50) for storing data about the positions of the transceivers (10), a receiver (20) for receiving ultrasound from the transceivers (10), and a calculation unit (40) for determining the position of the vehicle (V) within the parking lot (P) on the basis of the difference between the times when ultrasound simultaneously emitted by the plurality of transceivers (10) was received by the receiver (20).
