Abstract:
A control device (2) for a vehicle power generator (1) is provided with: a shared terminal (8) connected through a switch (9) to a communication interface (6) or a lamp interface (7); and a nonvolatile PROM (12) for controlling the switch (9) according to shared terminal set data and switching the interfaces connected to the shared terminal (8). The PROM (12) stores shared terminal set data of "communication interface being valid" as an initial setting. The shared terminal set data stored in the PROM (12) can be written to "lamp interface being valid" as needed via the shared terminal (8), the communication interface (6), and a memory controller (13).
