Title:
VEHICLE POWER TRANSMISSION DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2015/173902
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A vehicle power transmission device is provided with an auxiliary power transmission means which is disposed in parallel to a crank-type continuously variable transmission. The auxiliary power transmission means includes: a first power transmission path for connecting an input shaft to a first intermediate shaft; a second power transmission path for connecting an output shaft to a second intermediate shaft; and a transmission mechanism for connecting the first intermediate shaft and the second intermediate shaft. This makes it possible not only to implement engine braking and regenerative braking by transmitting drive force in the reverse direction from the driving wheel side via the auxiliary power transmission means when the vehicle is slowed down during traveling but also to enable limp-home traveling by transmitting drive force from the driving source side via the auxiliary power transmission means at the time of failure of the continuously variable transmission. An endless transmission member connecting a driving member provided on the first intermediate shaft and a driven member provided on an oil pump is disposed between connecting rods of two transmission units that are adjacent to each other in an axial direction. This makes it possible to provide a higher degree of flexibility to the layout of the oil pump by preventing the interference of the endless transmission member with the transmission units.
