Abstract:
The present invention provides a vehicle process management system and method capable of preventing a process delay due to a defect or non-attachment of a tag device. The present invention comprises: a plurality of tag devices which are respectively attached to a plurality of vehicles each having an identification code and move around on a production line together in order to identify locations of the plurality of vehicles, and each have a tag ID; a tag reader unit which is arranged in the production line and recognizes the tag IDs of the tag devices; a code reader unit which is arranged in the production line and recognizes the identification codes of the vehicles; and a server which receives the identification codes of the vehicles from the code reader unit and receives the tag IDs of the tag devices from the tag reader unit, so as to map the identification codes to the tag IDs, respectively, and when the identification codes are not mapped to the tag IDs for a certain reason, generates virtual tags each having a virtual ID, maps the identification codes to the virtual IDs, and tracks the virtual tags.
