Abstract:

The present invention makes it possible to appropriately record a video for an entire periphery of a vehicle without causing a significant increase in cost. A vehicle recording device (10) is provided with: a video acquisition unit (31) for acquiring a video of a first camera (13) for taking an image of the front or the rear of a vehicle and a video of a second camera (14) for taking an image of an area including a lower side of the front, rear, left, and right of the vehicle; a cutout processing unit (34a) for performing cutout processing with respect to the video of the second camera (14) acquired by the video acquisition unit (31) in a first cutout range to be used as a downward video and in a second cutout range including at least a direction distanced from the vehicle relative to the first cutout range; and a recording control unit (35) for recording, as data to be recorded, the video of the second camera (14) cut out in the second cutout range at a time when the vehicle is stopped, and the video of the first camera (13) at a time when the vehicle is running.
