Abstract:
A vehicle roof structure that has a roof panel and roof side rails that are bonded by bonding parts that run substantially along the vehicle body front-rear direction. A groove that opens toward the vehicle body upper side and extends substantially along the vehicle body front-rear direction is provided in an upper part of each bonding part. Each roof side rail has: a rail main part that is arranged to the vehicle width direction outside of the roof panel with the bonding part therebetween; and a rail extension part that extends forward from a front end part of the rail main part. A glass-receiving part that, as seen from above, is arranged further to the vehicle width direction outside than the bonding part and that receives an upper end side part of windshield glass is provided to each rail extension part. Each rail main part has: a rail main surface that forms a vehicle outside surface; and a shelf surface that is provided at a front end part of the rail main surface so as to be downwardly recessed and that is contacted by a lower surface of a side end part of a windshield upper molding.
