Abstract:
Provided is a vehicle safety inspection system. The system comprises: a scanning device, wherein the scanning device comprises an accelerator (110) and a detector (120) and is configured to carry out scanning imaging on a vehicle; a first sensor (S0) arranged in a vehicle approaching direction of the accelerator (110) and configured to detect whether there is a vehicle passing by; a second sensor (S1) arranged between the accelerator (110) and the first sensor (S0) and configured to detect whether there is a vehicle passing by; and a controller configured to preheat the accelerator (110) when the first sensor (S0) detects that there is a vehicle passing by, and to control, when the second sensor (S1) detects that there is a vehicle passing by, the accelerator (110) to emit a beam with a first dose meeting a safety condition for radiation protection of a person in the vehicle so as to carry out safety inspection on the vehicle.
