Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to improve reliability in identifying the present location of an arbitrary vehicle by displaying images of the vehicle continuously in realtime. To this end, a vehicle search system 100 according to the present invention is configured to comprise: an image capture unit 101 which captures an image of the ground from above; a vehicle image extraction unit 102 which extracts a vehicle image from an image which is captured by the image capture unit 101; a license number information reading unit 103 which reads license number information from the vehicle image which is extracted by the vehicle image extraction unit 102; a searched for vehicle determination unit 104 which determines whether the license number information which is read by the license number information reading unit 103 matches the searched for vehicle information; and an image capture direction control unit 105 which, if it is determined by the searched for vehicle determination unit 104 that the license number information matches the searched for vehicle information, controls the image capture direction of the image capture unit 101 so as to capture the image of the vehicle based on the license number information.
