Abstract:
According to the present invention, a shoulder support device that constitutes a seat apparatus is provided with: a base member fixed inside a seat; a paddle member rotatably connected to the base member; and an air bag interposed between a paddle member 31 and a base member 50. The paddle member has an engaging projection that is inserted into a hole provided in the base member and thus engages with the hole to form a pivot X of the paddle member. The engaging projection is slid in a direction in which the engaging projection is drawn from the hole of the base member by the paddle member being pressed by the air bag. The engagement position at which the engaging projection and the hole engage with each other is moved toward the end of the engaging projection due to the sliding of the engaging projection.
