Abstract:

The objective of the present invention is to provide a vehicle seat core material with which a surface cover of a vehicle seat can be coupled in such a way as to be easy to attach and resistant to becoming detached, and which is capable of being produced using a simple die construction. To this end, a vehicle seat core material (2) according to the present invention has formed therein a space (7) recessed into a surface of an in-mold foam molded body (3) which is a constituent of the vehicle seat core material (2), wherein the recessed space (7) is provided internally with an insert material exposed portion (8) and a projecting portion (9) which projects toward the insert material exposed portion (8), and wherein a gap (D) exists between the insert material exposed portion (8) and the projecting portion (9).
