Provided is a vehicle seat cover material that has a decorative portion (bead portion) which has excellent strength, surface durability, and wear resistance. This vehicle seat cover material includes a first cloth, a second cloth, and a narrow fabric, the narrow fabric 13 including a substantially rectangular decorative portion 2, a substantially rectangular first seam allowance portion 3 that is connected to a widthwise edge of the decorative portion, and a substantially rectangular second seam allowance portion 4 that is connected to the other widthwise edge of the decorative portion. The edge of the first cloth is sewn to the first seam allowance portion of the narrow fabric, and the edge of the second cloth is sewn to the second seam allowance portion of the narrow fabric. The decorative portion 2 of the narrow fabric 13 includes one to a plurality of bead portions 7 having a hollow pouch structure portion 6 extended in a longitudinal direction of the decorative portion, inserted yarns 5A that are disposed inside the pouch structure portion 6, and braids 5B that are disposed inside the pouch structure portion 6, at least a portion of warp yarns that constitute the pouch structure portion 6 being heat-fusible yarns.
