Abstract:
Provided is a vehicle seat having stable quality, the vehicle seat having little wrinkling or looseness in the trim cover, and little meandering of the side gusset sections (joining on the shape ridgeline). A vehicle seat having: a seat cushion that is the seating surface part of the seat; a seat back provided on the back side of the seat cushion, the seat back being the backrest part of the seat; and a headrest for protecting the head and neck of an occupant, the vehicle seat being characterized in that in the seat cushion, the seat back, and/or the headrest, the side gusset sections are formed by the sewed sections of the skin material being embedded and affixed inside grooves provided in a pad surface.
