Abstract:
A seat reclining device (4) has a ratchet (10), a guide (20), and a pole (30) which locks relative rotation between the ratchet and guide. The ratchet has a second protrusion (13E) which protrudes so as to abut a rising projection (34) of a main pole (P1). The second protrusion has an escape recess (13E1) which avoids abutting, in the direction of rotation, between the rising projection and the second projection (13E) only in a partial region in the direction of rotation.
