Provided is a vehicle seat that is unlikely to become hot even when the seat is left under the hot sun. The vehicle seat (S) has a grain pattern (M) on the surface, and is equipped with a facing material (40) that covers a cushion material (30) placed on a bottom plate. The facing material (40) has facing (1) made of a synthetic resin in which an infrared-transparent pigment is dispersed, the grain pattern (M) formed on the surface of the facing (1) is configured with convex parts (5) and concave parts (4), the convex parts (5) and the concave parts (4) are of different heights, and the convex parts account for less than a prescribed ratio of the surface of the facing (1). Because the facing (1) is configured in such a way, infrared rays are transmitted through the facing (1) and a passenger contacts the facing (1) only at the convex parts (5), so the surface of the vehicle seat (S) does not feel hot even when the vehicle seat (S) is left exposed to the hot sun.
