Title:
VEHICLE SEAT
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/122841
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
When a large load acts on a child seat, there is a concern that the load could be transmitted to an anchor via an engagement member of the child seat and that the anchor could be excessively deformed. In the present invention, an anchor (30) having a substantially U-shaped form as seen in the plan view, in which front ends of a pair of left and right side-bars (30a) are linked via a front bar (30b), is fixed to a linking pipe (16) of a seat cushion laid in the left-right direction, and is fixed via a bracket (32) so as to extend forward obliquely from an upright position. The bracket having a substantially U-shaped form as seen in the plan view, in which the front ends of a pair of left and right side-walls (32a) are linked via a front wall (32b), is provided below an engagement member so that a lower surface (24') of the engagement member can abut against an upper end (32b') of the front wall. When a load on the child seat is transmitted to the anchor via the engagement member, the side bar undergoes buckling deformation, the lower surface of the engagement member that descended following the deformation of the side bar abuts against the upper end of the front wall, and the descent of the engagement member is blocked.
