Abstract:

This vehicle seat 1 comprises: a touch switch which is provided on the rear of a seat back; a slide motor which causes a seat cushion to move back and forth in parallel; a reclining motor which causes the seat back to tilt and move; and a control device. The control device performs a walk-in operation on the basis of a signal from the touch switch. The walk-in operation is an operation for moving the seat cushion and the seat back from an initial position to a walk-in position by simultaneously performing the forward tilting movement of the seat back and the forward parallel movement of the seat cushion. The vehicle seat 1 allows even a person having weak muscle strength to easily conduct walk-in operations, and allows even a person having no idea how to conduct the walk-in operations to intuitively conduct the proper walk-in operations.
