Abstract:
In order to improve, in a side frame, the stiffness of a portion in which side frame pieces overlap each other, this vehicle seat provided with a seatback frame has a side frame 10 of the seatback frame, the side fame 10 having a first side frame piece 20 and a second side frame piece 30 which partially overlap each other in the extending direction thereof, wherein in the side frame 10, the side frame pieces overlap each other in an overlap portion 40, in which both the first side frame piece 20 and the second side frame piece 30 overlap, while a plurality of closed regions 41, 42 are formed which are surrounded and closed by both the side frame pieces in a cross-section of the overlap portion 40 crossing the extending direction of the side frame 10.
