Abstract:
[Problem] To make it difficult, in a vehicle seat where a seat back is provided with an airbag module, for a load exerted on the back surface of the seat back to be transmitted to the air bag module. [Solution] A vehicle seat 1, 300, 400 includes: a frame-shaped seat back frame part that contains a vertically extending side member 26, 301 and forms a framework 5 of the seat back; a board-shaped plate 20, 402 that is disposed to the rear of the seat back frame part and provided with an extension part 32, 410 which extends toward the vehicle-exterior side beyond the vehicle-exterior side of the side member; an attachment member coupled to the side member; and an airbag module 23 that is disposed in front of the extension part and coupled to the side member via the attachment member.
