Abstract:
Vehicle seat comprising a seat cushion (1) which is provided, at least on one side thereof, with a rigid shielding element (13), which extends along a lower edge of the seat cushion, and with a soft covering element (15), which is integral with or fastened to the cushion cover (7) of the seat cushion and extends downwardly between said seat cushion (1) and said shielding element (13). Thanks to the combination of said rigid shielding element (13) and soft covering element (15), a solution is provided for concealing the metallic components of functional assemblies such as a height adjusting assembly (30) which are arranged below the bottom wall of the seat cushion as well as other metallic components of the vehicle seat arranged underneath the seat cushion, which improves the overall appearance of the vehicle seat.
