Abstract:
This vehicle (1) is equipped with a sensor circuit (4) which can detect external obstacles. While the vehicle (1) is travelling along a predetermined travel route in a first lane on a road having at least a first lane and a second lane adjoining the first lane, if sensor information from the sensor circuit (4) indicates that there is a first obstacle moving at a speed slower than a predetermined speed on a predetermined travel route, the vehicle is made to travel closer to the boundary line between the first lane and the second land than the predetermined travel route, and after the vehicle has approached the boundary line, the sensor circuit (4) performs detection of a second obstacle in the direction of travel.
