Abstract:
The present invention increases the strength of second-direction outside sections of a shift body. A shift device 10 in which: when a lever 24 is arranged in an "M" position, a right avoidance hole in the lever 24 avoids a right restriction part 22, the rotation of a left restriction surface 28 of the lever 24 is restricted by a left restriction part 20, and rightward rotational operation of the lever 24 is restricted; and, when the lever 24 is arranged in a "D" position, a left avoidance hole in the lever 24 avoids the left restriction part 20, the rotation of a right restriction surface 30 of the lever 24 is restricted by the right restriction part 22, and leftward rotational operation of the lever 24 is restricted. As a result, the right avoidance hole and the left avoidance hole can be reduced in size, and the strength of both left and right outside sections of the lever 24 can be increased.
