Abstract:
An on-vehicle shutoff control device (10), wherein a control unit (12) switches a switch portion (14) from an on state to an off state when an electric current value detected by an electric current detection unit (16) changes from being less than a threshold value to being equal to or more than the threshold value when the switch portion (14) is in the on state. The control unit (12) switches the switch portion (14) to the on state in at least either of: a case in which, after the switch portion (14) has been switched from the on state to the off state, an electric potential difference between both ends of the switch portion (14) is continuously maintained at less than a reference with the switch portion (14) remaining in the off state for a predetermined time, or the rising speed of the electric potential difference between both ends of the switch portion (14) is less than a reference; or a case in which the electric potential difference between both ends of the switch portion (14) is less than the reference when a predetermined time has elapsed after the switch portion (14) has been switched from the on state to the off state.
