Abstract:
The invention relates to a vehicle sliding roof device (3) having a front cover (5) and a rear cover (6), each movably mounted on guides by means of a bearing unit, and which can be adjusted between a closed position in a roof opening and ventilation and/or open positions. According to the invention the front cover (5) and the rear cover (6) of a drive unit can be adjusted by means of a mutual control mechanism such that the rear cover (6)at the front wheel (42) thereof is lowered from the locked position of the rear cover (6) in the roof opening into a ventilating position, and that the front cover (5) in a raised position is displaced to the rear over the lowered rear cover (6).
