Abstract:
Provided is a vehicle software management device (100) which enables an update to a software version that can continue to provide a stopped service even when an abnormality occurs in a control device (400). The vehicle software management device (100) comprises: an information acquisition unit (101) which acquires control device state information, software function version information, and software service information; a stopped service detection unit (102) which detects a stopped service that has not been made executable due to the control device (400) of which the operation is abnormal; a communication unit (103) which transfers the control device state information and the stopped service information to an exterior vehicle server (900); and a software update unit (104), wherein the communication unit (103) receives, from the exterior vehicle server (900), a software version that executes the stopped service by means of the normal control device (200), and the software update unit (104) issues instructions to the control device (200) for an update to the received software.
