Abstract:
Disclosed is a vehicle spare tyre rack, in which a locking mechanism on a bottom plate (2) is formed of two assemblies able to slide separately, and the two assemblies are joined together to form a symmetrical hole. During use, a release rod (11) is pulled to drive the rotation of a non-circular member into the lock, and when the lock is opened, the release rod (11) is pressed downwards and positioned, swinging a cable shaft (7), a tyre bracket lifting suspended pin (19) passes through a fixed hole (34) to eject the release rod (11), a protruding part (38) rotates, and the two assemblies close and automatically lock under the action of a return spring (24). An anti-theft mechanism is provided on a side plate (4) at a side of a sliding through-groove (33), and a twining face on which a steel wire cable (32) is wound on the cable shaft (7) is provided with a cable bundle compression spring (31). The spare tyre rack is further provided with a damping spring (1010) preventing idling of a ratchet (16) and a tyre stabilizing apparatus having a hollow top wire (1020) and a nylon pad, and a carbon steel cut member is preferably used for the locking mechanism to have high precision. The present invention only requires approximately 10 seconds to assemble and remove a spare tyre, and the spare tyre will not be easily lost, while the invention is suitable for use with various forms of wheeled vehicles, achieving all-weather, fast lifting/lowering of spare tyre having an anti-theft function.
