Abstract:
A vehicle speed control device determines whether braking force generated by automatic braking control is suppressed or not on the basis of an automatic braking duration that is a time from the start of the automatic braking control to the present point in time, and a vehicle speed reduction value obtained by subtracting a vehicle speed at the present point in time from a vehicle speed at the start of the automatic braking control during the execution of the automatic braking control.
