Abstract:
Provided is a vehicle speed measurement method, comprising: obtaining a monitoring video of a road, and extracting multiple consecutive frames of images in the monitoring video; identifying vehicles in the multiple frames of images, and establishing a traveling track of a target vehicle; obtaining image position coordinates of the target vehicle in each frame of image; obtaining world position coordinates of the target vehicle in the real world according to the image position coordinates; calculating, according to the world position coordinates, moving distances, in the real world, of the target vehicle of every two adjacent frames of images among the multiple frames of images; and calculating the speed of the target vehicle at a current frame according to a traveling distance of the target vehicle in the real world and a frame rate of the monitoring video, wherein the traveling distance is obtained according to the moving distances.
