Abstract:

Provided are a vehicle speed sensor device, an ABS apparatus including the same, and an operating method thereof. The vehicle speed sensor device comprises: a rechargeable battery; a speed sensor for receiving power supplied from the battery, and measuring a rotation speed of a wheel bearing to generate a speed signal; and a wireless signal transmitter for transmitting a speed signal to an electronic controller through wireless communication. Such a configuration enables the device to be robust against an external damage, can remove the problem of tangled wires due to complex cable connection, and can reduce the weight of a vehicle.
