Abstract:
When starting a vehicle provided with the disclosed vehicle start control device, when a gas pedal (2) is depressed with a clutch (102) disengaged and the throttle position reaches or exceeds a prescribed throttle-position threshold at which the engine speed required to start the vehicle is produced, the pedal pressure of the gas pedal (2) is increased a prescribed amount beyond a base pedal pressure. This makes it easy for a driver starting the vehicle to hold the gas pedal constant (2) at the throttle position at which the engine speed required to start is produced, thereby allowing the driver to smoothly engage the clutch (102), thus making it easy to smoothly start the vehicle.
