The purpose of the invention is to suitably estimate the state of a vehicle. A vehicle state estimation unit (1200) comprises: a main computation unit (1210) that performs linear computation regarding a state quantity related to a vehicle state; and a tire model computation unit (1240) that performs non-linear computation with direct or indirect reference to at least a portion of the computation result by the main computation unit (1210).
