Abstract:
In order to provide a vehicle state quantity estimation device capable of suppressing a sudden change in behavior while the behavior of a vehicle is controlled, a vehicle state quantity estimation device (2) for estimating a target lateral acceleration (Gyt) used to control the behavior of a vehicle (1) on the basis of a lateral acceleration actual measured value (Gys) and a lateral acceleration estimated value (Gye) when the vehicle (1) travels, wherein when being estimated on the basis of the lateral acceleration actual measured value (Gys) and the lateral acceleration estimated value (Gye), the target lateral acceleration (Gyt) is estimated by performing weighting on the lateral acceleration actual measured value (Gys) and the lateral acceleration estimated value (Gye) according to the state of a side skid of the vehicle (1), when the side skid reaches a predetermined value or more, the state in which the weighting on the lateral acceleration actual measured value (Gys) is large is maintained regardless of the state of the side skid, and when the state in which the difference between the lateral acceleration actual measured value (Gys) and the lateral acceleration estimated value (Gye) is a predetermined value or less continues for a predetermined time, the state in which the weighting on the lateral acceleration actual measured value (Gys) is large is cancelled.
