Abstract:
A vehicle status notification system is provided with: a plurality of vehicle-mounted units (3a to 3d) respectively mounted on a plurality of vehicles (2a to 2d); and a center server (1) that receives from each of the plurality of vehicle-mounted units (3a to 3d) operation presence/absence information indicating whether the vehicles (2a to 2d) in which the vehicle-mounted units are mounted, and that stores the received operation presence/absence information about each of the plurality of vehicles (2a to 2d) in a vehicle information database (12). The first vehicle-mounted unit (3a), on the basis of detection of a predetermined status of the first vehicle (2a) in which the first vehicle-mounted unit (3a) is mounted, notifies the center server (1) about status development information indicating the detection of the predetermined status. The center server (1) notifies a driver of a notified vehicle about the predetermined status of the first vehicle (2a).
