Abstract:
This vehicle steering device includes: a first setting unit 41 that sets a target assist torque in accordance with a steering torque; a second setting unit 42 that sets an angle control target torque for approximating, to zero, an angle deviation between a target steering angle and an actual steering angle; an estimation unit 43 that estimates a compensation object load for the angle control target torque; a first calculation unit 44 that calculates a target automated steering torque on the basis of the angle control target torque set by the second setting unit and the compensation object load estimated by the estimation unit; and a second calculation unit 44 that calculates a target motor torque which is a target value of motor torque of an electric motor, by performing weighted addition of the target automated steering torque and the target assist torque in accordance with a value that changes in accordance with a driver input.
