Title:
VEHICLE SUN VISOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/158746
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a vehicle sun visor such that an unattractive V-groove-shaped gap between a sun visor body and a recess on the ceiling surface, in which the sun visor body is stored, can be set smaller and more inconspicuous without resulting in poor appearance due to wrinkles or looseness in the cover around the terminal portion of the sun visor body. The vehicle sun visor is suitable for achieving a great-looking, flat-surfaced vehicle ceiling surface. [Solution] This vehicle sun visor comprises a sun visor body 1 which can be flipped up into and stored in a recess U1 on the vehicle ceiling surface U and flipped down out thereof. The sun visor 1 has a structure in which two divided core materials 2A, 2B with a cover which are formed at the same time from core materials 2 and the cover 3 on the surface of the core materials are joined so as to overlap. When the sun visor body 1 is stored, the division line VL, which is the joint boundary between the two divided core materials 2A, 2B with the cover, is offset toward the vehicle interior side with respect to the center position in the thickness direction of the sun visor body 1, and the terminal portions E of the two divided core materials 2A, 2B with the cover are in the form of convex curved surfaces from the offset division line VL. The radii of curvature of the convex curves are set in such a manner that of the two divided core materials with the cover, the convex curve of the divided core material 2A with the cover which, with the sun visor body 1 stored, faces into the vehicle interior side has a smaller radius of curvature.
