Abstract:
In the present invention, a vehicle sunroof device is provided with the following: a movable panel; a guide rail; a sliding member; a check mechanism for transitioning the movable panel into a tilt-up state by locking the forward and backward movement of the movable panel, and when the movable panel is in the tilt-up state, releasing the movement-locked state of the movable panel; and a lock and release switching mechanism that has a first member and a second member and causes the first member and the second member to lock so that the sliding member and the movable panel move integrally when, in the tilt-up state, the sliding member moves further forward and as a result subsequently the sliding member moves backward. The check mechanism is provided with a rotation check having either a lock groove or an engagement protrusion. When the movable panel transitions into the tilt-up state, the rotation check is in a rotation position that locks the movement of the movable panel. In the tilt-up state, after the sliding member moves further forward and then moves backward, the rotation check turns so as to move into a turn position at which the movement-locked state of the movable panel is released.
