Abstract:
This surroundings-monitoring control device is mounted in a vehicle provided with an imaging unit (21) for imaging the surroundings and a display unit (31), and is equipped with the following: extraction units (11, 22) for extracting, as target regions, image regions corresponding to each imaging target from a captured image obtained from the imaging unit; a determination unit (11) for determining whether or not it is possible to group a plurality of targets on the basis of the type of the targets and the positional relationship of a plurality of target regions; and a display control unit (17) for displaying, on the display unit, a symbolic image representing the presence of a group for each group when determined it is possible to group the targets, in a superimposed manner on the captured image.
