Abstract:
Provided is an on-vehicle system for mitigating the psychological burden on a driver, the on-vehicle system being equipped with: a remaining amount detecting means for detecting the remaining amount of a power source remaining in a vehicle; a lighting detecting means for detecting whether a power source remaining amount warning light provided in the vehicle has been lit; a lighting remaining amount storing means for storing, as a lighting remaining amount, the power source remaining amount detected by the remaining amount detecting means when the lighting of the power source remaining amount warning light is detected by the lighting detecting means; a report remaining amount detecting means for detecting a power source remaining amount that is greater by a predetermined amount than the lighting remaining amount stored in the lighting remaining amount storage means; and a reporting means for reporting information for urging replenishment of the power source, the reporting occurring after detecting the power source remaining amount that is greater by the predetermined amount than the lighting remaining amount and before detecting the lighting remaining amount.
