This vehicle system (1) comprises: an update control unit (211) for controlling updating of a light distribution control program (221) using update data (222) acquired via wireless communication; and a restriction unit (212) for restricting light distribution control performed by a light distribution control unit (214), which is capable of controlling the light distribution of a vehicular lighting fixture (200) on the basis of the light distribution control program (221), when updating of the light distribution control program (221) using the update data (222) has failed.
