Abstract:
A vehicle theft alert system is provided with: a lock state determination unit (210); and a transmission control unit (230 to 270, 310 to 340). The lock state determination unit determines whether, after main power to a vehicle (10) is turned off, a door lock state in which a door of the vehicle is locked is present. When it is determined by the lock state determination unit that the door is locked, the transmission control unit transitions from a normal mode to a warning mode. In the warning mode, the transmission control unit causes an external device positioned outside the vehicle to transmit warning information by controlling a mobile communication unit mounted on the vehicle when the amount of change in air pressure of a tire (1a to 1d) of a vehicle exceeds a first pressure width (H1), or when the amount of change in acceleration acting on the tire exceeds a predetermined acceleration width (Ad).
